Juventus are preparing a potential offer for Viktor Gyokeres, as Fabrizio Romano confirms talks for the Sporting Lisbon striker.

The Bianconeri are in the market for a new number nine to replace the outgoing Dusan Vlahovic, and Gyokeres has now become their primary target.

As already revealed by Fabrizio Romano on Monday, Juventus held a meeting with Gyokeres’ agents in London last week through intermediaries. They then had direct calls over the weekend.

Juventus to make official bid?

Juventus are monitoring developments before planning to launch an offer they hope will put them in pole position to sign the striker.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Al-Hilal are all interested in signing Gyokeres, who is available for sale in the region of €70 million this summer.

Romano adds that Gyokeres likes Juventus, making them a potential destination if an official offer arrives.

While Vlahovic will leave, Juventus are hoping to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan deal from PSG by another year.

Indeed, on Tuesday, Corriere dello Sport reported that Juventus and PSG have reached an agreement to extend Kolo Muani’s loan until June 2026 with a €50 million buy option attached.

As for Gyokeres, he has a €100 million release clause in his Sporting Lisbon contract but will seemingly go for only €65-70m.
