WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle believes that his former rival Brock Lesnar may retire from professional wrestling after his upcoming match at WrestleMania with Omos.
There has been speculation about Lesnar’s departure from Vince McMahon’s promotion, with rumors suggesting that the 45-year-old MMA icon has already said goodbye to staff and colleagues backstage.
Angle, who had a classic rivalry with Lesnar back in 2003, suggests that Lesnar has achieved all there is to achieve in professional wrestling, having won championships in WWE, UFC, and New Japan Pro Wrestling, as well as being a NCAA Champion.
The 10-time world champion has also made more than enough money to live a comfortable life, and he is known for his love of spending time with his family and pursuing outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
According to Angle, Lesnar deserves to go out on his own terms and retire from professional wrestling, as he has accomplished everything he set out to achieve. Angle also believes that Lesnar’s desire to spend time with his family and engage in his hobbies will make him happy for the rest of his life.
Lesnar and Angle had a legendary clash at WrestleMania 19, and their rivalry is still remembered by wrestling fans to this day.
While Lesnar’s retirement from professional wrestling is not yet confirmed, Angle believes that the MMA icon has achieved all there is to achieve in the industry and deserves to retire on his own terms.
