The footage, which was obtained by The Sun newspaper, shows Walker, 28, staggering around and then falling over. He then appears to flash his genitals at passers-by.

Walker, who is currently on international duty with England, has since apologised for his behaviour.

Manchester City have since confirmed that they are aware of the incident and are conducting an internal investigation.

The club said in a statement: “We are aware of the media reports and are looking into the matter. We will be making no further comment at this time.”

The incident has also been reported to Greater Manchester Police, who have launched an inquiry into the matter.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are aware of a video circulating on social media which appears to show a man exposing himself in public.

“We are currently making inquiries and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.”

Walker, who joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, has been capped 45 times by England and is expected to be part of the squad for this summer’s European Championships.

It is not yet known what action, if any, Manchester City will take against the player.
