Liverpool clinched the 2024-25 Premier League title in May and they are set to spend big in the market in an attempt to defend their crown.
Arne Slot enjoyed a sublime debut season at Anfield, despite minimal spending during his first summer transfer window, and the Dutchman is expected to be rewarded with significant reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

Liverpool’s potential incomings and outgoings
Liverpool are set to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz for a Premier League record transfer fee this summer.
Slot’s side have already agreed personal terms with the Germany international and they are currently locked in negotiations with Leverkusen over payment terms. Liverpool have already lodged a €130 million bid, although the Bundesliga outfit are holding out for €150m.
They are also eager to bring a new centre forward to Anfield, although top targets Alexander Isak and Julian Alvarez are unlikely to leave Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Goncalo Ramos, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike are also under consideration.
In addition, Liverpool are close to finalising a deal for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez amid their pursuit of a long-term replacement for Andrew Robertson.
Meanwhile, several players are set to be sold by Liverpool this summer.
Darwin Nunez is almost guaranteed to depart Anfield after an underwhelming three-year stint at the club, while Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez have all been linked with exits.
Luis Diaz is wanted by Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia, but Liverpool have reportedly decided to keep him at the club for at least another year.
