Liverpool legends have teamed up with Paddy Power to poke fun at Trent Alexander-Arnold following his unveiling as a Real Madrid player.
Alexander-Arnold, who was snapped up by Los Blancos for £10million from Liverpool, was finally presented as a Galactico on Thursday afternoon.
It marked the end of months of speculation, which irked Liverpool fans, after Alexander-Arnold refused to sign a contract extension with the Merseyside giants.
While Alexander-Arnold has faced backlash from the fanbase, a trio of Liverpool legends have teamed up to poke fun at the full-back in a light-hearted video.
Starring in the Paddy Power advert, Phil Thompson, Jason McAteer and Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock reflect on the divine intervention of the full-back on ‘one of those incredible European nights for Liverpool.’
In a dramatic piece to camera, Thompson began by saying: ‘The memory of that night. That one magic moment will stay with the fans forever, no matter what happens.

Alexander-Arnold, 26, has taken the squad number 12 and will be known simply as ‘Trent’
‘One of those incredible European nights for Liverpool. It’s what they’re famous for,’ McAteer said.
‘One piece of individual brilliance turned the game. And it comes from a full-back!’, Ruddock added.
Thompson continued: ‘The game was on a knife edge. Three all!’
At this point, it seems evident that the trio are referring to Alexander-Arnold’s ingenius bit of skill during Liverpool’s dramatic win over Barcelona back in 2019.
But, then, Ruddock utters: ‘Dudek, he’s out of position. Andriy Shevchenko certain to score. But who sees the danger? Who saw it? Yeah, Djimi’.
Ruddock refers to the impressive piece of defending from former Liverpool defender Djimi Traore, who made a vital clearance during the 2005 Champions League final against AC Milan.
The cameras cut, so to speak, and it showed a bemused producer, who asked: ‘Sorry, what? Djimi Traore? Why would we… This is for Trent Alexander-Arnold’.
The trio of legends responded, ‘Who? Never heard of him mate. Alexander-Arnold? Sounds a bit posh for me. Is he some sort of Tory MP or something?’
The producer replied: ‘He’s the best full-back Liverpool have had in recent years!’
McAteer answered: ‘You mean, Andy Robertson.’

He was joined by girlfriend Estelle Behnke, his parents, and club president Florentino Perez
Alexander-Arnold spoke fluent Spanish at his Real Madrid unveiling, stunning his new employers as he was joined by model girlfriend Estelle Behnke.
The England star hailed it as a ‘dream come true’ to join Los Blancos as he gave his entire address in a foreign language with his proud parents and two brothers also watching on.
‘Thank you Florentino Perez and the club for this opportunity. This doesn’t happen every day,’ he said.
‘It’s a dream come true. I’m very happy and proud to be here. I want to show Real Madrid fans how I play. I do realise I’m signing for Real Madrid and the demands are high but I am going to give my all for the team and Real Madrid fans.
‘I want to show those fans how I play. I want to win many titles. I want to be a winner here and enjoy playing alongside the best players in the world. Hala Madrid (hail Madrid).’
