Liverpool have reportedly reached a full agreement to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez for a fee of roughly €47 million.

The Reds have been chasing Kerkez’s signature for several months, after identifying him as their top target to replace Andrew Robertson, and they have now finalised a deal with Bournemouth.

The Hungary international will sign a five-year contract at Anfield and he will reportedly undergo his medical at the club next week ahead of a blockbuster move to the reigning Premier League champions.

Kerkez started all 38 league games for Bournemouth last season, scoring two goals and providing four assists, and he has been nominated for the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Year award.

News of Kerkez’s imminent move to Liverpool comes following reports that the aforementioned Robertson has emerged as a key target for Atletico Madrid amid Diego Simeone’s search for defensive reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth have already signed Kerkez’s replacement, with Andoni Iraola’s side recently confirming the signing of Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert for €13.5m.

Kerkez will become the fourth player to join Liverpool this summer when his move to Anfield is formally announced by the club.

Netherlands right-back Jeremie Frimpong and Hungary goalkeeper Armin Pesci have already arrived at the club, from Bayer Leverkusen and Puskas AFC respectively, while the Reds are also on the verge of formally announcing the signing of Florian Wirtz for a club record fee.

The Germany star has successfully undergone his Liverpool medical and he is scheduled to be unveiled as the club’s latest signing very shortly.
