Liverpool secured their second ever Premier League title in May and Arne Slot is set to be rewarded with significant reinforcements this summer as the Reds bid to defend their crown.
The Anfield outfit have enjoyed an extremely successful streak of transfers in recent years, with the majority of their new signings immediately performing well, and they will hope to continue that trend this summer.
Last summer, Liverpool signed Giorgi Mamardashvili and Federico Chiesa, although the former was sent back to Valencia on loan and the latter barely featured, while they sold both Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho to Brentford.
This year, Liverpool have already completed the signing of Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has joined Real Madrid, while Caoimhin Kelleher has become the third Reds player to join Brentford in the past year.

Liverpool’s potential incomings and outgoings
Liverpool are on the verge of signing Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz and his medical is scheduled to take place on Friday.
A full agreement has been reached to purchase the Germany international and he could become the most expensive signing in Premier League history if add-on clauses are met. His initial transfer fee is a reported €117.5 million.
Liverpool are also eager to sign a new centre forward and they have rekindled their interest in Alexander Isak in recent days, although Newcastle United are determined to retain their talismanic striker.
Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez, Paris Saint-Germain’s Goncalo Ramos and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike are also under consideration by the Anfield hierarchy.
In addition, Liverpool are close to officially announcing the signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez amid their pursuit of a long-term replacement for Andrew Robertson. A deal has been agreed for the Hungary international and confirmation of his move is expected shortly.

Meanwhile, several players are set to be sold by Liverpool this summer.
Darwin Nunez is almost guaranteed to depart Anfield after an underwhelming three-year stint at the club, while Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Jarell Quansah and Joe Gomez have all been linked with exits.
Luis Diaz is wanted by Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia, but Liverpool have reportedly decided to keep him at the club for at least another year.
The aforementioned Robertson may depart, however, amid interest from Atletico Madrid, while Kostas Tsimakas’ future is also uncertain.
