Manchester United supporters have brutally mocked their club after they slumped to an embarassing defeat 1-0 against ASEAN All-Stars.
Manchester United hit a new low as they limply lost the first of their two post-season friendlies in Malaysia despite Bruno Fernandes, Amad, Harry Maguire, Andre Onana and Alejandro Garnacho all featuring.
ASEAN All-Stars, an exhibition side made up of Southeast Asian internationals, took the lead through Maung Maung Lwin at the 84,00 seater Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
The humiliating loss comes just three days after Ruben Amorim’s side succumbed to a 15th place finish in the Premier League – their worst result since relegation in 1974 and just the second time in 35 years they have missed out on European competition.
Fans were quick to lambast the Red Devils for their defeat.
Posting on X, one fan wrote: ‘You guys are losing??? How?’.
‘Embarassing,’ another supporter fumed.
