On a night of high drama at Old Trafford, Manchester United came from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 and keep their quadruple hopes alive.
The Hammers had taken the lead in the first half through a goal from Michail Antonio, but United responded with a stunning late strike from substitute Marcus Rashford to level the scores.
The Red Devils then took the lead through a penalty from Bruno Fernandes, before substitute Mason Greenwood sealed the victory with a late goal.
The result means that United remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple, with the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and Carabao Cup all still within their reach.
The game started brightly for the hosts, with Fernandes and Greenwood both having chances to open the scoring in the early stages.
However, it was West Ham who took the lead in the 24th minute, as Antonio fired home from close range after a well-worked move.
United responded well and had a number of chances to equalise before the break, but were unable to find a way past the Hammers’ defence.
The second half saw United continue to press for an equaliser, and they were finally rewarded in the 82nd minute when Rashford fired home a stunning strike from outside the box.
The goal seemed to give United a new lease of life, and they took the lead just two minutes later when Fernandes converted a penalty after a foul on Greenwood.
The Red Devils then sealed the victory in the 90th minute when Greenwood fired home from close range to make it 3-1.
The result means that United remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple, with the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and Carabao Cup all still within their reach.
It was a hard-fought victory for United, and one that will give them a huge boost ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
The Red Devils will now turn their attention to their next game, a trip to face Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
If they can continue their recent form, then United will be confident of keeping their quadruple hopes alive and kicking.
