Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a club-record transfer bid of £115million for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The 18-year-old has been one of the most sought-after players in Europe this summer, with a number of top clubs vying for his signature.
United have been linked with the French international for some time, and it appears they are now ready to make a move.
According to reports, the Red Devils are willing to break their transfer record to sign Camavinga, who is valued at around £115million by Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are reportedly keen to keep hold of the youngster, but United are said to be confident of getting a deal done.
Camavinga has been a regular in the Real Madrid first team this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions.
He has also been a regular for the French national team, making his debut in October 2020 and scoring his first goal for Les Bleus in March 2021.
The midfielder is highly rated for his technical ability and tactical awareness, and he has been compared to some of the best players in the world.
If United are successful in their pursuit of Camavinga, it would be a major statement of intent from the club.
The Red Devils have already signed Donny van de Beek from Ajax this summer, and the addition of Camavinga would be another major coup for the club.
It remains to be seen if United can get a deal done, but it appears they are willing to break the bank to sign the highly-rated youngster.
