MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly set to hand a new contract to Alejandro Garnacho after his impressive showing in the FA Youth Cup final.
The Young Devils beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in front of legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson at a packed Old Trafford last night.
Garnacho scored twice in front of a delighted home crowd before paying tribute to hero Cristiano Ronaldo – who had sent an inspiring message to United’s kids before kick-off.
And the 17-year-old Argentina ace is now being tipped to reach the top under incoming gaffer Erik ten Hag.
Indeed, Garnacho had already scooped United’s Young Player of the Year award.
And the Daily Mail claims he is now set to be handed a lucrative new deal – less than a year after penning his first-ever pro contract.
Garnacho, who has already trained with Lionel Messi after being called up by Argentina in March, has been at United since 2020.
The winger cost just £420,000 from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
And his FA Youth Cup final double took him to seven goals in this season’s competition.
One man who reckons Garnacho is going to make waves in United’s senior set-up is club youth coach Travis Binnion.

Reflecting on Garnacho’s penalty against Forest in front of more than 60,000 fans, Binnion said: “That boy could be in any stadium in the world and he wouldn’t care.
“That’s his make-up. A few of them are like that and that’s why they are going to have good careers.
“This football club is remarkable at that, it’s the best in the world at that.
“We have to keep that going, we have a responsibility to keep that going – the pipeline.
“It’s nice to give the fans a bit of something because they’re different class.”
