Manchester United are set for a huge turnover of players this summer, with David Ornstein revealing that there are eight Old Trafford stars who could find themselves searching for a new club.
Ruben Amorim has an ambitious plan to overhaul the playing staff at Man Utd but that means first shifting the deadwood in the squad.
With the Red Devils entrenched in the lower half of the Premier League table, the Portuguese does not have to look far for players to axe, and Ornstein, in conversation with NBC, has revealed that as many as eight are set to leave.
Which players will leave Man Utd this summer?
This comes as little surprise given that the broken relationship between the attacker and Amorim has been detailed extensively, with the England international needing a miracle to return to competitive action with the Red Devils.
Instead, Rashford is said to “like the idea” of moving to somewhere like Barcelona. Ornstein underlined the fact that he has no interest in moving to London. Previously, FootballTransfers revealed that Tottenham Hotspur were plotting a move.

Of course, Rashford is not alone in struggling to make an impression under the Portuguese, who is planning more radical alterations to the squad.
Jadon Sancho, who is on loan at Chelsea, Antony, presently with Real Betis, and Tyrell Malacia, temporarily with PSV, are all tipped to move.
Similarly, Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund are players who could be sold, while Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof will both be moved off the wage bill.
Ornstein: European qualification no big deal
Interestingly, Ornstein also pointed out that reaching the Champions League next season is unlikely to have a bearing on Amorim’s signing plans.
“I don’t think their targets are going to change based on whether they’re in Europe or not, or what competition. They’re pretty sure of what they want and they’re going to try and do it in a busy summer at Old Trafford,” he added.
An exciting summer is in store, then, for Man Utd.
