The agent of Rasmus Hojlund is pushing for the striker to leave Manchester United, according to a report.
The Dane is coming off a hugely disappointing season both at a club and on a personal level. Hojlund led the line as Man Utd endured their worst campaign since the establishment of the Premier League.
The 22-year-old only managed to find the back of the net 10 times in 52 appearances in the bygone campaign, thus contributing massively to the Red Devils’ struggles.
Naturally, he has come in for fierce criticism, just like his equally unproductive forward partner Joshua Zirkzee. Both are now being heavily linked with a departure from Old Trafford, with Man Utd in desperate need of money.
The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha for €74 million, while they are also in talks with Bryan Mbeumo, who will likely cost a similarly hefty sum. However, it is understood that Man Utd only have around €100m to spend unless they raise significant funds via sales.
Hojlund pushing for exit
TEAMtalk now claims that Hojlund and his agent are pushing for a summer transfer to get out of the mess that is Man Utd. The Dane is said to be determined to return to Italy, where he previously enjoyed a brief but successful spell at Atalanta.
Intriguingly, the report asserts that Juventus are showing the strongest interest in the 22-year-old right now, despite widespread links with Champions League finalists Inter in recent days.

To be sure, the Nerazzurri are also credited with an interest in Hojlund, but the outlet states that they have yet to act on their attraction in any credible way. Napoli, too, have Hojlund on their shortlist of attacking options, but they similarly have yet to make any advances.
Man Utd, as things stand, will only sanction a permanent exit of Hojlund, which could prove problematic depending on their valuation of the forward.
They spent almost €80m on him in 2023, so there is an acceptance that he could be too pricey for Serie A clubs, unless Man Utd’s desperation drives them to soften their stance in the coming weeks.
