Manchester City are considering a move for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
The club are weighing-up James McAtee’s sale on top of allowing Jack Grealish to join Everton and Tottenham looking to buy Savinho.
That would leave Pep Guardiola’s side room to move for an attacking replacement and the 24-year-old Brazilian would be an option.
Arsenal and Liverpool have previously held an interest in Rodrygo and he appears likely to leave the Bernabeu this summer having hardly played for new boss Xabi Alonso at the Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, Forest are continuing negotiations for midfielder McAtee and have improved their bid to around £27million inclusive of add-ons for the England U21 international though that has still to be accepted.
Forest, however, are understood to have personal terms in place with the 22-year old.

A number of clubs including Bundesliga sides remain attentive to McAtee’s situation but Forest are hopeful of finding agreement.
Daily Mail Sport reported this weekend that Forest have also offered £11m plus add-ons for Monaco defender Soungoutou Magassa.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are also among those interested in Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas after making enquiries earlier this window.
