Sharabutdin Magomedov made his long-awaited UFC debut and didn’t disappoint as he got the better of Cormier
Former MMA star Daniel Cormier was left stunned by Magomedov’s approach as he praised his creativity.
Cormier said: ‘I’ve never seen anything like it. It was a double spinning back fist. He hit him on one side, then threw it on the other side! I have never seen anything like it! A double back fist. Holy cow. Creativity boy’.
Magomedov signed with UFC late last year, with many fans having been eager to see him in action.

After suffering major damage to his eye earlier in his career, Magomedov underwent eight operations.
He missed out on two years of his career but doctors were unable to remove part of the vital organ.
Following the fight, Magomedov made the brave decision to call out Israel Adesanya
Magomedov showed no fear after the fight as he called out former champion Israel Adesanya.
Magomedov said: ‘Thank you very much. Listen to me guys, I am the best striker in this division, I will smash Adesanya!’.
Adesanya has won 24 of his 28 bouts and has suffered just four losses, although two of those defeats have come in his most recent fights as he was beaten by Dricus du Plessis and Sean Strickland.
