On a recent episode of ESPN’s “NBA Today,” former Boston Celtics center Kendrick Perkins presented his highly anticipated “Big Perk’s Big List” segment featuring the league’s top 2023 rookies to watch in the upcoming 2023-24 season. The former Celtics champ introduces four exciting rookies who have the potential to make a significant impact on their respective teams, and of course one of them was drafted by Boston.

That player would be defensive menace Jordan Walsh, a Texan wing taken by the Celtics from the Arkansas Razorbacks with the No. 38 pick of the 2023 draft who surprised fans of the team with his evident readiness to test NBA play with an outstanding performance in the league’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League.

Walsh plays with energy and passion, making him a promising player to watch for quality minutes on the court for Perkins.
