James Harden took it there.

While overseas in China during an Adidas media event, Harden called Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey a “liar” after ESPN reported over the weekend the 76ers ended trade talks involving him.

“Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of,” Harden said. “Let me say that again. Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.”

The former Arizona State star demanded a trade and the Clippers were considered a destination for him, but nothing materialized to the point of moving the All-Star guard who was named to the NBA 75th team.

However, Harden is saying he won’t play for the 76ers with Morey there.

The NBA season starts in two months. Training camp begins next month.

Harden, who is on his fourth NBA team, likely will start the season in Philadelphia, but whether he finishes it with the 76ers is far from being a guarantee.
