Reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen has agreed to a monster new six-year, $330million contract with the Buffalo Bills, according to reports.
In the biggest offseason news so far, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Allen will be guaranteed an eye-watering $250m – the largest guaranteed money ever given to an NFL player.
Allen was drafted No 7 overall by the Bills in 2018 and has played his entire career in Buffalo. By the end of his new deal in 2030, he will be 34 years old.
The shock news comes just months after he got engaged to his pop superstar girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld, and weeks after he secured his first ever NFL MVP title.
Allen still had four years left on his previous contract, but has now been rewarded with a bumper deal after the best season of his career so far.
