Colin Cowherd shared on Wednesday that NFL legend Aaron Rodgers reminds him of President Donald Trump.
Rodgers, who was officially released by the Jets hours after Cowherd’s remarks, is looking for his next team in free agency.
And Cowherd thinks the four-time MVP shares personality traits with the Commander-in-Chief.
‘I think Aaron is a little like Trump, they give off the same energy that they receive,’ he said on The Herd.
‘I’ve known people who I wouldn’t think would get along with Trump, who have gotten along with Trump. If you give Trump a certain energy, you can get along. I think Aaron gives you the energy that you give him, and that’s his personality.’
Of course, Rodgers has been linked to the politics world, just not with Trump.
Colin Cowherd made an interesting NFL comparison to President Donald Trump

Trump and Aaron Rodgers both ‘give off the same energy they receive,’ Cowherd said.
He is close friends with former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who even asked him to be his running mate last year.
Rodgers declined so that he could continue playing in the NFL, and Kennedy ultimately became the Secretary of Health and Human Services in Trump’s second administration.
The quarterback, 41, had a difficult two years with the Jets.
His first season ended almost as quickly as it began as he tore his Achilles in his debut for the franchise, costing him essentially all of the 2023 season.
He returned to play all 17 games last year but the team went 5-12 and fired coach Robert Saleh and GM Joe Douglas during the middle of the season.
The Giants, Steelers and Vikings have all been linked with the passer of late as he picks his next franchise.
