Khalen and Kelce were previously teammates. The defensive tackle played in Kansas City for three years and won titles with the Chiefs in 2019 and 2022.

After his tenure with the defending champions, Khalen signed a three-year deal with the Saints.

Aside from tallying two tackles and assisting five, Khalen made an interception in the Chiefs’ end zone. After catching a loose ball, Khalen gained 37 yards, impressively shaking off the opposition.

The loss moved the Saints to a 2-3 record as they gear up to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 13.

Kelce and the Chiefs got the last laugh as they moved to a perfect 5-0 record with the victory. In the win, Kelce made nine receptions for 70 yards.
