A heartwarming moment was caught on video during the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade on Friday as Saquon Barkley spotted the team’s ballboy in the crowd.

Barkley was walking on the road high-fiving fans when he saw that his team’s ballboy was behind a metal barrier with other fans.

The running back’s face lit up before he hugged the fan and helped lift him over the barrier and onto the road to walk with the team.

The pair then walked arm-and-arm for several seconds before Barkley could be seen posing for a selfie with a police officer.

And that was not the only touching sequence involving Barkley during the parade.

Earlier, he stopped and posed for a picture with a three-year-old girl after seeing her sign which read: ‘Today is my 3rd Birthday! Go Birds!’

Barkley then – as captured by the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Alex Coffey – picked up the girl and posed for pictures with her for about 20 seconds, leaving her family stunned.

‘I couldn’t believe it was happening,’ her father, Charlie, is reported to have said.

It’s been a whirlwind week for Barkley since he and the Eagles beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

On Tuesday, he appeared on the ‘Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon, and was interviewed by the late-night host alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Offensive linemen Cam Jurgens, Landon Dickerson, Lane Johnson, Mekhi Becton and Jordan Mailata were also on the show.

Two days later, Barkley worked a ceremonial shift at Raising Cane’s in Trevose, Pennsylvania.

The running back had a historic season for the Eagles as he became just the ninth player ever to rush for over 2,000 yards in the regular season (he even sat out the last game of the year).

By his lofty standards, Barkley was held in check by Kansas City as he rushed for just 57 yards, but he won’t care now that he’s a Super Bowl champion.
