San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills looks set to be a game like no other on Sunday night as snow continues to fall on Highmark Stadium ahead of the late game of the day.
The NFL shared a stunning clip on social media on Sunday afternoon, five hours before kickoff, showing snow blanketing the stadium while fans fight to clear as much of it as possible before the game begins.
As much as 46 inches of now has fallen around northern and western New York since Black Friday and more is schedule to fall before the game.
There is hope, according to Fox Weather on Sunday afternoon, that a band of snow from Lake Erie could drift south of Orchard Park closer to the game starting.
That said, they still say that snow flurries will hit the stadium during the game.
The Bills shared video of trucks trying to clear snow from the field itself, the stands and the parking lot before the showdown.

Tickets, meanwhile, have dropped to around $68 on StubHub with the brutal conditions deterring some fans from attending.
If the Bills emerge victorious, they will seal their place in the playoffs as AFC East winners.
The 49ers, meanwhile, really need to upset the odds with a win to keep their playoff hopes alive as the regular season nears the final stretch.
Last year’s runners-up in the Super Bowl enters the game last in the NFC West on a 5-6 record.
