Jared Goff's swimsuit model wife details exact moment the Detroit Lions transformed into a great team

The Detroit Lions are an NFL juggernaut these days but that was not the case a few years ago, as Jared Goff’s swimsuit model wife, Christen Harper, reminded everyone on social media late Sunday night.

Harper re-posted a video from December 2021, when Goff threw a walk-off touchdown to Amon-Ra St. Brown to defeat the Minnesota Vikings.

Dating back to the end of 2020 and including the preseason, the Lions hadn’t been victorious in 18 straight games, a 364-day streak.  It was also Goff’s first win as a Lion after being traded to the team 11 months before from the Rams.

Harper was not at the game that was the turnaround, as she had a Sports Illustrated swimsuit photoshoot to attend.

In a yellow bikini, Harper finds out the Lions broke the losing streak and is ecstatic.

Harper watches the clip of Goff’s touchdown toss to St. Brown, which has become more routine over the last three seasons, and is on the verge of tears.

In present day, the Lions just wrapped a 15-win regular season and are the NFC’s top seed heading into the postseason, which comes with homefield advantage until the Super Bowl.

Goff’s career renaissance has taken Detroit from laughing stock to heavy hitter, with many predicting a Super Bowl trip for the Lions next month.

Harper has been on the sidelines for many of Goff’s games in Los Angeles and Detroit, with his personal stock rising alongside that of the Lions.

Goff and Harper got engaged several months after the photoshoot and married last year in a California ceremony.

The rise of the Lions was marked by a 9-8 season in 2022, followed by a trip to the NFC Championship game last season.

The Lions have improved so much that the team is already one win away from matching that feat this year.
