Kay Adams addresses Daniel Jones dating rumors

Kay Adams shut down rumors of a relationship between her and New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

The Up and Adams host, 38, and the 27-year-old Giants star have starred in dating rumors among fans who speculated a spark during their interviews.

However, in a recent appearance on the 25/10 Show, Adams admitted that, while she respects Jones as a person and athlete, their romance is nothing but fan fiction.

‘I’m not dating Daniel Jones — breaking, breaking news,’ Adams told hosts LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. ‘I’ve met him all of two times, wish him the best. I’m pretty sure he has a girlfriend.’

Before the Giants got off to a dreadful 0-2 start, Adams spent time with Jones at training camp.

During an interview, Adams appeared to fumble her words while speaking to Jones. The apparent stutter sent social media into a tailspin as fans began speculating.

‘Where did that come from?’ Adams added. ‘To be a woman in sports, I’m not allowed to stutter. That’s what it is.’

‘If I stutter, it’s like: ‘Ooh she likes him. She wants to be with him.’ That’s where it came from.’

The former Good Morning Football host also addressed the rumors on her program earlier this month, calling Jones her ‘boy’ while shutting down the buzz.

‘You gotta protect your boy, my boy, the world and internet thinks [he’s] my boy,’ Adams told Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor while discussing their game plan against the Vikings.

During the 25/10 episode, McCoy – who spent the earlier part of his career going up against the Giants – took a slight dig at his former rivals.

‘We can say this today on ’25/10 Show,’ she cleared the air, they are not dating, right, plus, you know you like the winning quarterbacks,’ the ex-running back quipped.

Jones was sacked five times in New York’s season opener against Minnesota. While he showed improvement in Week 2, completing 16 of 28 attempts for two touchdowns, the Giants still lost 21-18 to the commanders.

The unpleasant start led Giants fans to burn Jones’ jersey outside MetLife Stadium.

Jones is halfway through his four-year, $160m extension and will try to lead New York to their first win this season against the Browns on Sunday.
