Lamar Jackson gave the Ravens a major injury scare on Thursday as he nearly fell off a bike on the way to practice.
The Baltimore quarterback was high fiving fans on his way to training camp with the Packers when he briefly lost control of his bike.
Jackson’s feet both came off the pedals for a moment but he was able to get back on the bike and laughed the incident off.
Fans showed concern about the close call afterwards on social media
‘Geez Lamar lol I appreciate the high fives but damn dude don’t break your ankle doing this,’ one wrote on X.

Another said, ‘Somebody get Lamar some training wheels for God’s sakes’
And a different fan added, ‘Dude was a quick reflex away from breaking a wrist…’
Notably, Jackson was far from the only Ravens player to ride a bike into practice as Baltimore trained against the Packers.
It’s a Green Bay tradition in training camp to ride bikes into training camp, and the Ravens official X account wrote, ‘Thanks for letting us join in on the fun.’
Jackson and the Ravens will begin their season against the Chiefs on September 5
Green Bay will host the Packers on Saturday in each team’s last preseason game before the NFL returns in full.
The Packers start their season off on September 6 with a trip to the Eagles in Philly.
The Ravens, meanwhile, will face their AFC foes the Chiefs in Kansas City on September 5.
