Las Vegas Raiders set asking price for Davante Adams amid trade push

The Las Vegas Raiders are welcoming trade talks for Davante Adams and named their price for the star wide receiver.

Adams, 31, previously shut down whispers about him being unhappy in Sin City. However, recent reports suggest he is indeed unhappy and asked to be traded.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported what the team wants in exchange for Adams as they open their ears to offers.

According to Schefter, sources claim the ‘Raiders have informed other teams that they would ‘consider’ trading WR Davante Adams for a package that would include a second-round pick and additional compensation.’

The proposition came after NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo made the initial report of Adams’ trade request.

Adams is in the middle of his third season in Las Vegas since getting traded from Green Bay in March 2022. The receiver has three years left on his contract and is set to make $35.6million in 2025 and 2026.

The six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro receiver found Las Vegas intriguing two years ago, partially because his college teammate Derek Carr was the franchise’s quarterback then.

However, with Carr now in New Orleans and the team having a lot of uncertainty in the quarterback position, Adams is looking for greener pastures in the NFL.

Adams has played in three games so far this season and caught 18 passes for 209 yards and nine touchdowns for the 2-2 Raiders.

He did not suit up for Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Browns after suffering a hamstring injury in practice on Thursday.

While Adams’ injury and contractual status remain questionable, the Raiders will take on the Denver Broncos on October 6.
