Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman DeMarvion Overshown has torn his ACL, MCL, and PCL and is out indefinitely, with his status for 2025 in question.

Recovery time for one of those major injuries is several months, much less suffering all three at the same time.

Even though 2025 training camps will not open for another eight months for next season, Overshown’s return timeline is unknown.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke on Overshown’s injury on Tuesday, mentioning the next full season without him as a possibility.

‘I don’t know at this time the time date on his rehab but I just can’t tell you how bad I feel for him,’ Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.

Overshown’s injury occurred when trying to make a tackle during Monday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and getting rolled up on by multiple players.

A full reconstruction of Overshown’s knee could see him out of action for more than 14 months with the 2026 Super Bowl scheduled for February 8.

This season, Overshown had 84 tackles, five sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovered, eight tackles for loss an a defensive touchdown.

The defensive touchdown came against the Giants on Thanksgiving Day, picking off Drew Lock by tipping a pass and catching the deflection before running untouched into the end zone.

More to come.
