NFL Star Suggests Possible Tom Brady Raiders Return

NFL star wide receiver Davante Adams has tipped Tom Brady to come back out from retirement for a second time, if his arm is still right, as he pleaded for the seven-time Super Bowl champion to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders, if he does.

The 31-year-old Adams, who is set to enter his third season on the Raiders this fall, was formerly teammates with Aaron Rodgers on the Green Bay Packers for eight seasons and recently shared his wish to reunite with the New York Jets quarterback, 41.

At the time, the two-time NFL receiving touchdowns leaders (2020, 2022) isn’t ruling out a far-fetched possibility of potentially linking up with Brady, 46, for the first time in his career either, as he remains committed to the Raiders.

Brady, on the other hand, is waiting for approval on his bid to become a minority shareholder of the Raiders (10 percent) from the league. He and Raiders owner Mark Davis struck an agreement over the deal in May.

When asked if he could possibly convince Brady to unretire and play for Las Vegas on Shannon Sharpe’s ‘Club Shay Shay,’ Adams said: ‘Hell, yeas. I don’t care. 58. Tom knows how I feel about him.

‘The other part is, I think I’d be the first person that played with Tom and Aaron (Rodgers), so that would be pretty cool.

‘I mean, he’s getting older, but I mean he gotta still be able to throw it better than, you know, half these dudes in the league.’

Adams and Brady regularly keep in touch due to the latter’s potential involvement on the Raiders’ ownership board in the future.

But, as far as things go, Brady is preparing himself for his rookie season in the booth for Fox Sports, as he starts work as an NFL analyst for the network in the fall.

Meanwhile, Brady recently went on a ‘low-key night out’ with his mini-me, 16-year-old son, Jack, at a New York sushi hot spot.

He was also accused of ‘disrespect’ by a former NFL star, who offered to play on the Tampa Bay Bucs with Brady back in 2022, after Antonio Brown’s controversial mid-game retirement against the Jets that season.

Speaking on the The Volume’s ‘The Bubba Dub Show’, the former wideout, now 50, recalled: ‘Tom Brady ignored me, bro.

‘The year that AB [Brown] went crazy on him, I was talking about coming back, and at that point in time it was the end of the season, I didn’t need to play a full season. They just needed somebody to at least fill some holes with AB leaving at the receiver position.

‘I reached out to him [Brady] through Randy [Moss] and a couple of other people, just to come in and play third down and red zone situation.

‘You know this dude really ignored me, bro? It just shows you the lack of respect there, but then when they get in front of you they want to act like they respect you.’

Shots fired, Tom.
