Patrick Mahomes has further cemented his legacy as arguably the greatest Kansas City Chiefs player of all time after setting a new franchise record in their Black Friday clash with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chiefs quarterback registered his 238th touchdown pass in the game at Arrowhead Stadium, meaning he is now Kansas City’s all-time leader in that department after surpassing Hall of Famer Len Dawson.

He even took a hit while picking out Justin Watson in the end zone for six, which helped Andy Reid’s team take a 10-3 lead into the halftime break after a successful conversion.

Mahomes already stakes a claim to being the greatest in Chiefs history after guiding the team to a second consecutive Super Bowl last season.

The 29-year-old is already Kansas City’s all-time leader in passing yards after racking up over 31,000 and counting, while at the time of writing he is just nine wins shy of passing Dawson again to become their winningest quarterback.

As things stand, Mahomes boasts a regular-season record of 84-23 with the Chiefs, which will move to 85-23 if they hold on for the victory against the Raiders.

Prior to Friday’s game, he delivered a rallying cry to his teammates in a clip which has gone viral on social media.

‘Energy all day, energy all day, how great do you want to be on every single snap?’ Mahomes asked them.

‘What do you have on every single snap? I need it. Let’s go out there and dominate.’

A few minutes later, Mahomes told Amazon Prime that the Chiefs had ‘to find a way to get a win’ the ‘tough battle.’

Kansas City headed into Friday’s game with a 10-1 record for the season, having lost against the Buffalo Bills before returning to winning ways against the Carolina Panthers.

Taylor Swift was among the crowd at Arrowhead and even aimed a wink at the cameraman after arriving to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The pop sensation was joined by Travis’ mom Donna, her dad Scott, and her bodyguard Drew.

Around her neck, Swift donned a new 87 necklace in honor of her man Kelce, who she was there to see play against Las Vegas.

Donna, meanwhile, had a sequined black blouse with a red scarf to boot, matching it with black leather pants and white trainers.
