An apparent cheap shot on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has fans talking after his team suffered their first loss this season to the Baltimore Ravens.
In a clip posted by X account MLFootball, Allen’s helmet is ripped off during a scramble. As the quarterback’s head was unprotected, Baltimore linebacker Raquan Smith was seen charging toward the dogpile.
While the clip does not clearly indicate whether Smith hit Allen in the head, fans took to social media to express their anger toward the Ravens and the NFL.
One fan wrote ‘that was such a pointless hit at that point wth.’
Meanwhile, several claimed that the ‘Ravens have always been dirty.’

‘Are we surprised Roquan Smith did that? I mean he’s been doing that his whole career,’ a third user claimed.
‘Humphrey is the DIRTY MF that ripped Josh’s helmet off! Then Smith with the late hit,’ a fourth added. ‘Something to bookmark for playoff time!’
‘Player safety is crucial, and it’s essential for everyone to play within the rules to avoid unnecessary risks,’ a fifth said.
Allen struggled in the Week 4 showdown, throwing 16 for 29 for 180 yards and zero touchdowns. Buffalo’s only trip to the end zone came from Ty Johnson’s rushing effort. Kicker Tyler Bass then added four points in their losing effort.
Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson shined in the victory, making 13 of 18 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, and Justin Tucker also contributed to the Ravens’ scoring.
Last year’s AFC title contenders improved to a 2-2 record. The Ravens lost to the Chiefs and the Raiders to start the season before scoring their first win over the Cowboys. Baltimore will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on October 6.
On the other hand, Allen and the Bills moved to a 3-1 record after tying together wins against the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Jaguars. The Bills will compete – also on the 6th – against the Houston Texans.
