Simone Biles has been outspoken for nearly a year in coming to her husband, Chicago Bears’ defender Jonathan Owens’ defense over his past comments, with the Olympian vowing to continue to do so.
Biles doubled, if not tripled down, on her stance on her man, who previously stated he did not know who she was before they dated, and eventually married.
Many fans found Owens’ comments hard to believe because he is an athlete.
The blowback only got worse when he called himself the ‘catch’ in their marriage, which Biles also saw no problem with.

‘Social media gives (followers) this false sense of reality that they really know who you are and how you function,’ Biles said. ‘Most of the time they don’t understand the mental toll that it takes, especially going into an Olympic year.’
‘I know we signed up to be judged in the gym but when you guys are going to talk about him or my family, yeah, I’m gonna come at you guys.’
‘Most of the time, I bite my tongue but now, yeah, I have a voice, I’ve always had a voice. Just because you didn’t think I wouldn’t see it doesn’t mean I’m not obligated to respond… it’s crazy.’
Biles also dissed the people that dismissed Owens because she has not been as individually successful as she has been in her sport.
In April, Biles revealed exactly what she thought of Owens making the ‘catch’ comments on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast.
‘He said he was a catch because he is! I’ve never met a man like him.’
