Tom Brady gets his QB: Las Vegas Raiders make stunning trade for Seattle Seahawks star Geno Smith

The Las Vegas Raiders have a new quarterback after completing a trade for Seattle Seahawks star Geno Smith, per multiple reports.

The bombshell trade was announced on Friday evening and will see Smith reunite with his former coach Pete Carroll in the desert, with a 2025 third-round pick going the other way to Seattle.

Brady and the Raiders have been on the hunt for a new long-term QB and had been linked with the likes of Aaron Rodgers, but have now landed on Smith.

The 34-year-old held contract talks with Seattle over a new deal but could not come to any agreement, and heads to Vegas with one year left on his current contract.

Per Adam Schefter, the Seahawks are now expected to look closely at Sam Darnold as they reset in the quarterback position.
