Fox fueled excitement over Tom Brady’s broadcasting debut with a new commercial during Michigan’s game against Texas on Saturday.

Brady signed a 10-year, $375million deal to move into the broadcasting booth following the end of his record-breaking NFL career.

The former quarterback will call a game for the first time on Sunday, when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Cleveland Browns in their NFL opener.

On Saturday, Fox dropped a new commercial teasing this new chapter of Brady’s career in football.

It was aired midway through Michigan’s hotly-anticipated clash with Texas on Fox. Brady played college football for the Wolverines and the commercial features various versions of the quarterback through the years.

The 47-year-old can be seen talking to himself as a player – at Michigan, the Patriots, the Buccaneers, and as a young boy.

‘Tom Brady is back to work,’ reads the closing message. Earlier in the short clip, the former quarterback can be seen answering his critics who questioned this career move.

‘Tommy, the guy who took a couple of snaps in JuCo (junior college) wants answers,’ the younger Brady says.

‘Why don’t you lay on a beach getting fat on Pina coladas?’ he is asked. ‘Why not buy a soccer team?’

‘Got one,’ Brady, a minority owner in English team Birmingham City, replies. ‘What they’re really asking is: why don’t you quit football?’

He then adds that his football journey ‘isn’t even close to done’ before a childhood ‘Brady’ tells his older self: ‘And one day you can be the greatest there ever was.’
