LSU receiver Kyren Lacy – tipped to be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft – is wanted by police who say he was involved in a fatal car crash.
Cops have issued an arrest warrant for the 24-year-old. They allege his speeding on a highway near Lafourche Parish caused an accident that killed a 78-year-old man.
TMZ quotes police as saying: ‘Following the crash, Lacy drove around the crash scene and fled south on LA Hwy 20 without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash.’
The report adds Lacy and his representatives have been in contact with law enforcement and that he is also wanted for for felony hit and run and reckless operation of a vehicle.
He declared for the NFL Draft on Dec. 19, two days after the incident.
