Travis Kelce showed off his Happy Gilmore swing as he gears up for a role on the sequel to Adam Sandler’s iconic 1996 sports comedy.

After reports of negotiations to make his dream Hollywood debut happen, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback showed he’s ready for whatever role Sandler has in mind for him.

On the latest installment of the New Heights podcast, Sandler appeared as a guest and praised Kelce’s walkup swing.

‘That’s a long walk up,’ Sandler narrated as Kelce approached the tee in a clip. ‘Boom!’

‘You can hear Pat Mahomes in the background telling you where it went,’ Kelce said after the video of him blasting the ball over the course played.

‘I think I got the swing down,’ Kelce told Sandler before showing the clip.

‘What do you hit ’em when you play? You bang it,’ Sandler asked in response.

‘I can hit it 320 consistently off the drive,’ Kelce responded. ‘But I could be three holes over or right next to the hole. It’s either way.’

‘Son of a b**** ,’ Sandler said. ‘I’ve seen your swing, it is nice. When I’m doing the Happy Gilmore swing, I’m maybe one-for-four with it.’

In the same episode, Sandler revealed who he initially wanted Kelce to play in the movie.
