WWE Diva Nikki Bella and her husband, professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, recently revealed why they were hesitant about their son, Matteo, appearing on their new show, Nikki Says I Do LIVE. The couple, who welcomed their first child together in July 2020, opened up about their decision to include Matteo on the show during an interview with People.
Nikki and Artem explained that they wanted to make sure that their son was comfortable with the idea of being on television before they agreed to it. “We were hesitant at first because we wanted to make sure that Matteo was comfortable with it,” Nikki said. “We wanted to make sure that he was okay with it and that he was going to be okay with the cameras and the lights and the people.”
The couple also revealed that they wanted to make sure that Matteo was not overwhelmed by the experience. “We wanted to make sure that he was going to be okay with it and that he was going to be comfortable,” Artem added. “We wanted to make sure that he wasn’t going to be overwhelmed by it.”
Nikki and Artem also discussed how they plan to handle Matteo’s appearances on the show. “We’re going to be very mindful of how much he’s on the show,” Nikki said. “We’re going to make sure that he’s comfortable and that he’s not overwhelmed. We’re going to make sure that he’s having fun and that he’s enjoying it.”
The couple also revealed that they are excited to share their journey as parents with their fans. “We’re so excited to share our journey as parents with our fans,” Nikki said. “We’re so excited to show them how we’re raising Matteo and how we’re navigating this new world of parenthood.”
Nikki Says I Do LIVE is set to premiere on the USA Network on April 15. The show will follow Nikki and Artem as they plan their wedding and navigate parenthood. The couple will also be joined by their friends and family as they prepare for their big day.
