Paul Scholes has come to the defence of Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes after his embarrassing shift in the Reds’ 4-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

Scholes’ comments come after Fernandes was heavily criticised for his performance in the game, with some fans even calling for him to be dropped from the team.
However, Scholes believes that Fernandes should not be singled out for criticism, and that the whole team should take responsibility for the defeat.
He added: “It’s not just Bruno Fernandes who should take the blame for this defeat.
“It’s the whole team.
