They will now face Eintracht Frankfurt for a place in the final – with the first leg on April 28 and the return leg seven days later on May 5.

Leicester also enjoyed success in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as they followed up a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium with a 2-1 win over PSV in Holland.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will now face Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the semi-finals on the same dates as West Ham’s tie against Frankfurt.

But West Ham and Leicester’s progression in Europe has meant several Premier League games have been moved to accommodate their schedule.

As well as going for glory in the Europa League, West Ham are still battling for a Champions League qualification place in the Prem.

They currently sit sixth in the table, six points behind fourth place Tottenham ahead of Saturday’s games.

However, their best bet at qualifying for Europe’s premier competition looks to be through winning the Europa League.
