Premier League goalkeeping icon Shay Given was involved in a comical advert to promote the new partnership between Jameson and Puma.
Given, who made over 600 appearances in England – including 463 for Newcastle, 69 for Manchester City and 53 for Aston Villa – has been basking in the glory of the Magpies’ Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool last month.
Jameson, an Irish whiskey, and Puma are both partners of the Football League and have come together to release a new limited edition collection. It also features a co-branded football and some hand-painted custom Puma Kings boots.
Dion Dublin, who, like Given, is a pundit on Match of the Day, also features in the advert, which sees Given sat at home for a quiet evening of watching football, before crowds of people knock at the door and join him.
Semi-pro players Big John and Jess Watkins, freestylers such as Kaljit Atwal and content creators like Myrotek all join the former shot-stopper.
Dublin then joins the crowd, and they settle down to drink the new Jameson whiskey.

Josh McCarthy, Jameson UK Brand Director, said of the partnership: ‘We’ve been wanting to work with Puma ever since we got introduced through our shared EFL partnership. The chance to come together with a fellow heritage brand, one full of stories and culture, felt too good to miss. Especially given our shared passion for the game and work in the communities.
‘Football brings people together like nothing else and so this collection just raises a toast to all those people you know through football, as just like a glass of Jameson, the beautiful game has a way of uniting people from all generations. So, grab our Jameson x PUMA football, 2 jumpers and head to the park. See if you can bang one top bins for us!’
Billy Gentry, Teamsports Marketing Manager, Puma UKI, added: ‘We’re thrilled to partner with Jameson on this unique collaboration. Both brands share a passion for football and the fans who make the game so special.
‘This collection celebrates the generational love for football that unites us all, reflecting our commitment to community and the joy of the game. It’s a tribute to the moments and connections football creates, both on and off the pitch.’
