LEEDS forward Raphinha has given Barcelona 48 hours to finalise a deal as Chelsea look to pounce and seal his transfer.
The 25-year-old Brazilian has made it clear the Catalan giants are his No1 choice destination this summer.
Chelsea and Arsenal have both shown interest in signing him, with the Blues keen to strike a £60million move.
According to GOAL, Raphinha and his agent Deco have given Barcelona two days to finalise an agreement.
If they cannot do so then Chelsea will be ready to swoop in and steal him from under Xavi’s nose.
Barca are struggling to finance deals due to the current debts, with a transfer fee for the Leeds forward expected to be paid in instalments.
Raphinha, who has asked not to join the rest of Jesse Marsch’s squad on their pre-season tour of Australia, has agreed personal terms with Barcelona.
However, the aforementioned economic situation which the Catalans are dealing with has already seen them fail to register new arrivals Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie.
Raphinha will not want a similar situation to happen with him, so Barca need to get their finances in order before signing the South American.
Leeds are resigned to losing their playmaker this summer after it became apparent he was not willing to sign a new contract.

And while he still has two years left on his existing deal, Leeds boss Marsch has hinted that he expects him to leave.
He said: “There’s urgency from his end, I think, to come up with a solution.
“We have to in the next couple of days see how things stand and see how we go.
“It hasn’t been an easy time for him this summer.
“Things have come and gone and there have been a lot of little discussions. Right now he’s our player.”
