Real Madrid are set to let a key player leave the club this summer as Carlo Ancelotti prepares to make major changes to his squad.
The player has been at Real for many years and has made a major impact but he is now poised to depart.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Real have reportedly decided against offering him a new deal.
It is set to be a busy summer for Real, with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is nearing the end of his contract at Anfield, established as their main target.
There are also set to be further arrivals at the club, which means that decisions have to be made regarding the futures of major players.
Real are currently in second place in LaLiga, seven points behind leaders Barcelona, who have played a game more.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team are set for significant changes in the transfer window
Luka Modric is out of contract this summer and Real are prepared to let the 39-year-old leave, as reported by AS.
Despite his advancing years, Real captain Modric has still featured prominently this season and has made 29 appearances in LaLiga, 13 of which have been starts.
However, Modric’s time at Real could soon be coming to an end. Since joining from Tottenham in 2012 he has made 583 appearances for the Spanish club and has scored 43 goals, while he has provided 93 assists.
Modric has won an array of trophies with Real, including six Champions Leagues, four LaLiga titles and two Copa Del Reys.
Lucas Vazquez could also be allowed to depart, especially if Alexander-Arnold joins.
Vazquez, 33, is closing in on 400 appearances for Real and now often plays at right-back having previously mainly been used as a winger.
Dani Carvajal is currently out with a cruciate ligament injury but should be back early next season.
As well as Alexander-Arnold, other key targets for Real include Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen.
