The Poland international is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, and by some even as one of the best of all time.

The 33-year-old has scored 344 goals in 374 games for Bayern Munich since signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, including 50 goals in 46 games last season.

The Poland captain has won the European Golden Shoe in both the last two seasons, having scored 48 goals in all competitions the previous season, and has won the last two editions of The Best FIFA Men’s Player award.

But with his contract expiring in 2023, Lewandowski seems set for one final big move this summer, with Spanish giants Barcelona looking the likely destination.

He also came second behind PSG’s Lionel Messi in the 2021 Ballon d’Or, and has been named in FIFPro’s World XI for the last two years.

Robert Lewandowski next club odds

Sky Bet odds

  • Barcelona – 4/9
  • Stay at Bayern Munich – 7/2
  • PSG – 5/1
  • Chelsea – 16/1
  • Liverpool – 25/1
  • Manchester United – 25/1
  • Newcastle – 33/1
  • Real Madrid – 33/1
  • Arsenal – 40/1
  • Juventus – 40/1
  • Manchester City – 40/1

Barcelona are in the midst of a transitional phase, having not won La Liga since 2019 and having to deal with major financial issues that resulted in Messi’s departure from the club.

But since club legend Xavi has taken over as manager, the club have been on an upward trajectory both on and off the pitch.

The Spanish giants appear to be able to compete financially again, having signed the likes of Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January.

Along with Lewandowski, the Catalan club have been heavily linked with the likes of Raphinha, Bernardo Silva, Marcos Alonso and Ruben Neves this summer, and they look increasingly likely to keep hold of Frenkie de Jong this window.

Bayern remain adamant that their striker is under contract and therefore not for sale in this window and Lewandowski staying at the Allianz Arena this year can be backed at 7/2 with Sky Bet, up from 5/2 last month.

PSG are deemed to be the next likely destination for the frontman, priced at 5/1, as they continue their quest to finally secure their first Champions League title.

There are also a number of Premier League giants who are currently in need of a striker who are thought to be keen on Lewandowski’s signature.

Chelsea are the frontrunners from the Premier League, though their odds have lengthened to 16/1 when they were once as short as 6/1.

Liverpool are also believed to be keeping half on eye the striker’s current situation but are priced at 25/1, as are Man Utd, with Erik ten Hag looking to improve his squad he’s inherited from Ralf Rangnick.

After news of Cristiano Ronaldo intentions to leave Old Trafford it would have put the club in need of a top-class striker, but ten Hag has since said that the Portuguese remains in his plans and is not for sale.

Newcastle and Real Madrid are outsiders to sign the Pole at 33/1, with Arsenal, Juventus and Manchester City further behind in the pecking order at 40/1.
