Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, recently underwent ankle surgery and is now recovering in a hospital bed. The WWE legend, who recently resigned as the company’s CEO, showed off her huge cast in a post on Instagram.
McMahon, who is married to WWE Superstar Triple H, posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed with her leg in a cast. She captioned the photo, “Surgery complete! Time to heal and get back to work. #NeverGiveUp.”
McMahon has been a part of the WWE for over two decades, first appearing on-screen in 1999. She has held various roles in the company, including Chief Brand Officer, Executive Vice President of Creative, and most recently, CEO.
McMahon announced her resignation as CEO in October 2020, citing her desire to focus on her family and other business interests. She will remain on the WWE Board of Directors and will continue to be involved in the company in a non-executive capacity.
McMahon’s ankle surgery comes just days after her resignation as CEO. It is unclear what type of surgery she underwent, but it appears to be a major procedure, as evidenced by the size of her cast.
McMahon is expected to make a full recovery and will likely be back in action soon. In the meantime, she is taking the time to rest and heal. We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back in the ring soon.
