Newly promoted Sunderland will begin their Premier League return at home against West Ham on the opening weekend of the 2025-26 season.
Regis Le Bris’ side will have been handed fixtures against Burnley, Brentford and Crystal Palace in the early weeks of the campaign, with play-off winners hoping to make a strong start to boost their survival hopes.
The Black Cats host Newcastle in the Tyne–Wear derby in December, before the return fixture in March. Sunderland have tough matches in paper at the end of the campaign, as they finish with fixtures against Man United, Everton and Chelsea.
