Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match Prediction: Who Will Win The Match Between SRH And RCB? IPL 2022, Match 54, SRH vs RCB

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Match Prediction: Who Will Win The Match Between SRH And RCB? IPL 2022, Match 54, SRH vs RCB. Sunrisers Hyderabad, 6th placed in IPL 2022 points table will face 4th placed Royal Challengers Bangalore on 8th May 2022 at 3:30 pm at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, India in the 54th IPL 2022 match.

RCB did well in their last game to defeat Chennai Super Kings to keep hopes alive for a berth in the playoffs while SRH come here with a loss against the Delhi Capitals.

In the last five games between the two teams, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have won four of them. They had defeated RCB by 9 wickets earlier in the season and this would be a major confidence booster for the team. RCB ticked all boxes in the last game and it will be interesting to see if they can repeat the same magic.

Kane Williamson would be a worried man after suffering the third consecutive defeat at the most crucial phase of the tournament. The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise went down by 21 runs against the Delhi Capitals in what was one of the worst bowling performances by the side this season. A win would help them get close to the playoffs and having defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore earlier Kane Williamson would count his chances.

Openers Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson missed out in the last game against the Delhi Capitals and they will need to do well. In the middle order, the side has done well and they will expect to see runs from  Nicholas Pooran, Aiden Markram, and Rahul Tripathi scoring runs in previous games. Shashank Singh and Sean Abbott must do well as Washington Sundar’s injury is a big blow to the side.

Their bowling attack took a massive hit in the last game and the side would expect good spells from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sean Abbott with the new ball. Umran Malik would need to do more by picking wickets than break speed records. Kartik Tyagi, Shreyas Gopal, and Aiden Markram would have to come up with good performances as T Natarajan and Washington Sundar are out of action.

It was a good comeback for Faf du Plessis’ side Royal Challengers Bangalore after three consecutive losses. They batted well and bowled good spells in the key moments of the game against the Chennai Super Kings to win it by 13 runs. They are now placed fourth on the points table and shall aim to move up with a win in this game. They had suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier and Faf du Plessis would look to even it out.

The opening pair of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis is in good form and the side would expect a steady start from them against the Sunrisers. The side would need a good show from Glenn Maxwell in the middle order after his poor run so far. He must add runs with Rajat Patidar and Mahipal Lomror. In Dinesh Karthik and Wanindu Hasaranga, the side has good finishers.

Josh Hazlewood bowled well in the last game and the side would need more of that here as he opens the bowling with Shahbaz Ahmed. Mohammed Siraj and Wanindu Hasaranga had a poor outing against CSK and being the best bowlers on the team they have to deliver the goods here. Glenn Maxwell and Harshal Patel did well in the last game and the same would be expected from them against the strong batting line-up that Sunrisers Hyderabad has.

Mohammad Siraj has been wayward this season. He has been leaking runs in every phase of the match and completing his quota of 4 overs is clearly a headache for Faf du Plessis. He may be replaced by Siddharth Kaul or Akash Deep.

It will be a crucial game for both sides. The Royal Challengers Bangalore would need their middle order to do well as this has been an area of concern for them. They don’t have a great record against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and shall have to get over that.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have a strong batting line-up and this is expected to put them slightly ahead of Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad is the favorite team to win against Bangalore.
