Timo Werner has reportedly been told he has no future at RB Leipzig, just a week after he got married.
The forward has struggled in the last few years of his career, failing to find form since he initially left the German club for £53million back in 2020.
The move saw Werner earn £175,000-a-week, but struggle on the pitch as he failed to live up to expectations, scoring 23 times in 89 games between 2020 and 2022.
He was just 23 when he joined the Blues, who had high hopes for his performances, but, on the back of widespread criticism, he was sold back to Leipzig for just over £25m in a huge financial hit for Chelsea.
He was loaned to Tottenham for the 2024-25 season, but again failed to make an impression before heading back to Germany and hoping to finally settle.
That, though, has gone wrong – and , according to BILD, the forward has been told he has no future at Leipzig and won’t will play for them again.
Timo Werner has reportedly been told by RB Leipzig that he will never play for the club again

Werner, who married long-term partner Paula a matter of weeks ago, had a nightmare loan spell at Tottenham last season when he scored three goal
The player is still expected to report for duty for performance testing at the club’s training centre, but will not feature on the field.
That leaves him needing to find a new club, with the report suggesting that the player has rejected an offer made to him by MLS side New York Red Bulls, which is said to have been valid until the end of 2027.
Werner, though, is reportedly earning over £8.6million-a-year in Germany, and isn’t willing to give that up easily. There are, though, reportedly no other offers on the table for his services, and New York Red Bulls are not willing to increase their offer.
The news bought the player back down to earth, given he married his fiance of eight years a little over two weeks ago.
Werner and partner Paula had completed their civil wedding a year prior but tied the knot in Mallorca at a 17th-century fortress perched on a private peninsula – where Marco Asensio also got married previously – at the end of June.
Around 100 guests are thought to have attended the event, including former team-mates of Werner in Kevin Kampl and David Raum.
The party included a live DJ and a string quartet, with Werner giving off a glowing smile in the photos shared by the couple.
While his personal life may be shining, though, Werner’s footballing career is on the rocks.

It had been hoped he would be a huge hit with the Blues but he failed to find his best form
It comes after he leaves Tottenham having scored just three times in 41 games.
He also came under fire from former manager Ange Postecoglou in January, with the Australian saying after his side’s draw with Rangers: ”When you’ve got 18-year-olds, it [that performance] is not acceptable to me.
‘I said that to Timo, he’s a German international.’
It is understood that no Premier League side is currently in for Werner after his struggles in the capital.
