Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to complete a remarkable Champions League comeback when they take on AC Milan in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night.
Spurs were left with a mountain to climb after a 1-0 defeat in the first leg at the San Siro, but they have been boosted by the return of talisman Harry Kane from injury and the form of Gareth Bale, who has scored four goals in his last three games.
The Londoners have been in poor form in the Premier League, losing four of their last five matches, but they will be hoping to draw on their European pedigree to turn the tie around.
Milan, meanwhile, have been in good form in Serie A, winning their last three matches, and they will be looking to take advantage of Spurs’ poor form to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
The match will be broadcast live in English on BT Sport 2, with coverage starting at 7.30pm GMT. It will also be available to stream on the BT Sport app and website.
Spurs have been boosted by the return of Kane, who has been out since January with a hamstring injury, and the England captain is expected to start the match.
Bale has been in fine form since his return to the club, scoring four goals in his last three games, and he will be looking to add to his tally against the Italians.
The Welshman will be supported by the likes of Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Dele Alli, who have all been in good form in recent weeks.
Milan, meanwhile, will be looking to their talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic to lead the line. The veteran striker has scored 11 goals in his last 11 matches and will be looking to add to his tally against Spurs.
The Italians will also be looking to the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu, Ante Rebic and Franck Kessie to provide the attacking threat, while the experienced duo of Alessio Romagnoli and Simon Kjaer will be looking to keep Spurs at bay.
It promises to be an intriguing match-up between two sides with plenty of European pedigree, and Spurs will be hoping to complete a remarkable comeback to reach the quarter-finals.
