  1. I've always said if baseball hitters would do some batting practice on the tennis court, instead of just standing in an upright stance in a batter's cage, they would become better hitters against curveball pitchers. Ozzie Albies seems to be proving my point, and he's teaching the rest of the team how to do it by example. I've seen Albies lean over and hit balls a foot outside and six inches off the ground to get hits. He looks like Djokovic or Nadal when he does it. Albies gets out of his batting-cage comfort zone and gets extra hits by doing so. Eddie Rosario and Orlando Arcia are starting to get hits chasing curveballs using Albie's technique. Kattie bar the doors if the rest of the team picks up this curveball hitting technique.

  2. Giolito had a tough time today on the mound, but he held himself accountable for his performance today (really appreciated that). Hoping he will bounce back for the next time!

Same for Adams too, rough debut.

  3. I know the Orioles are in 1st at the moment but I'm praying for a Braves-Rays world series. My dad's favorite team is the Braves so it will just make it that much better…

  4. The Braves are absolutely on fire! They are having fun and it shows. I guess having a hitting coach by the name of Chipper, doesn't hurt either. Rumor has it, he was a pretty good hitter. 😂

  5. Game 106: The bats were ON FIRE today. Acuna, Riley and Olson all go yard en route to a 12-5 Atlanta victory. Yonny Chirinos has a pretty good second start in a Braves jersey. There were a few defensive miscues on both sides but overall it didn't affect us too much. Off day tomorrow and then we see Dansby in Chicago on Friday.

  6. the only thing that seperates the anaheim triple-Angels from the oakland triple-A's is ohtani. the fact that the angels took the first game from atlanta defies gravity

  7. Man I feel bad for Ohtani and Trout. A front office that always wants thinks they can make a playoff push when everyone knows they won’t 😂 and so they never get dealt to a team where they can actually play in the playoffs. Both of them should have been dealt this deadline if for no other reason than so that they can actually get a playoff experience at least once in their careers

  8. Not to take anything away from the Braves, they are solid, however, it is time to investigate the Angels pitching coach or at the very least get their pitching coach a coach!!!!

  9. I knew the angels getting Giolito wasn’t a good move. He was a slightly above average pitcher in a weak AL Central plus his wife just left him. Not a good combo. He’s already 0-2 lol
