  1. I don't have a problem with the players coming out of the dugout if there was a brawl or if a player was intentionally hit by a pitch or something more serious but the benches clearing because the catcher and the batter had a little mouth to mouth? Not to mention the bullpen clearing as well. I hate to say it but it honestly makes me kind of cringe and you're wasting everyone's time. It's almost as if these players are looking for any reason to come out smh

  2. Since MLB wants to speed up play, I think there should be a rule that, during any chest-puffing sessions, the bullpens just meet in centerfield and hold their own, separate kerfuffle. It would save them the trip to home plate and back which, as we all know, is a lot of steps for a baseball player! Ha Ha!

  3. Seattle Mariners defensive wall:
    🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱
    🧱🧱🎉1-run allowed 🎉🧱
    🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱
    1-run allowed = a 90% win ratio.

Great defensive job keeping this opponents run total at 3-runs and under.

When you are used to playing great defense. You can play under great pressure. Because you've been there and done that. Therefore, you're not going to make mistakes.

When a team us not accustomed to playing great defense. They will make defensive mistakes like:
Not fielding a routine ground ball, when a player is is scoring position, let's say that runner is on third base. And when that error happens, you simply score. Or a balk happens with the bases loaded. These are examples of what defensive preasure looks like, in real time.

I look at solid, fundamental defense as an invisible; "club", that you pummel your opponent with. Yes it's an odd club, but extremely effective. And that defensive club is what will give you an advantage over most of your opponents. Because they will self destruct, when it is their turn. And you will not.

"You are not going to win every game with great defense. But you're going to be in every game with great defense."
    Bill Parcells

  4. I'm glad to see that we didn't try to play it safe against Alvarez considering the damage he did to us in the alds. He only walked once this series and it wasn't intentional

  5. Finally the Mariners pull off a win against the Astros, they played like their life depended on it too bad they couldn't do that during the post season. Oh well enjoy it so it last.
