The St.Louis Cardinals are 10-16🔴⚪️
So sad the Giants got shutout this game. But at least we won the series. Hope the Giants do well against the Padres in Mexico Saturday April 29. The 2nd game of the 4 game series against the Cardinals was the most exciting one because of the walk off home run. Have a safe trip to Mexico and hope they do well there.
I've got a theory that you can tell which team won with these videos by seeing what team made an out in the preview and the team that got out won.
Swear we HAVE to be the world leader at leaving men on base…We had a game this year where we had bases loaded TWICE and didn't get one home…
That home plate ump was pretty atrocious

Logan Webb is in need of someone helping him to figure out why he is off his game. This is more than one bad outing. I don't want to see him go down hill.
I think this is the best all around win for the Cardinals this season. The offense provided good run support (Welcome back DeJong!), Mikolas pitched very nice and the bullpen locked it down! Let's go, Redbirds!

Cardinals only playing mediocre, need more batting practice time. Eye exams do
Overall better job by Mikolas today. I don't get how any MLB pitcher cannot see a base runner that far off the base in the first inning and then take his time stepping off before making the throw. But at least he got into the 7th inning in this game, like all starters should at least get.
Defensively at catcher, I'm more happy with Kisner. Great play on that dribbler to get the runner at home plate in the bottom of 5th. Have been really tired of watching Contreras kick low pitches around, and not throw any runners out stealing. He hasn't really helped much at the plate so far either, so might as well go with Kisner.

4:36 … that is a terrible slide. You have to go in on a better route than that, can't just dive straight in. Yeah yeah, I'm a random nobody I know, but simple sh*t like that is something you're taught at a young age.
I am routing against the Cardinals after they demoted Jordan Walker, who had the 3rd highest batting average on the team, plus they have a couple phenomenal minor leaguers that haven't been getting a chance. I'll continue to support Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt, but I hope the Cardinals come in last.

Mikolas pitched like a legend today even when the bases got loaded with 1 out that was key!! The offense woke up because they realized what Mikolas was doing which was shutting the Giants down we need more of that it can mess with the offense mindset. I would struggle and feel depleted to score runs if I knew the guy on the mound was just getting hit off of all day it makes sense.
